Ethical axioms are found and tested not very differently from the axioms of science.
Truth is what stands the test of experience.
My religion [n From the Latin religare, meaning to tie back; as in returning to one’s creator.] consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.
Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.
We should take care not to make the intellect our god; it has, of course, powerful muscles, but no personality.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the
source of all true art and science.
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking
Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen.
Never regard study as a duty, but as the enviable opportunity to learn to know the
liberating influence of beauty in the realm of the spirit for your own personal joy and to the profit of the community to which your later work belongs.
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend
Never lose a holy curiosity. It is the theory that decides what we can observe.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
… In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
… Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear [n archaic Reverential awe.]
the Lord, and depart from evil.” – Proverbs 3:5,6,7.
Do you even know that you are in bondage? Do you even know what the truth is? The truth that will set YOU free can only be the source of all truth:
When the Pharisees replied to Jesus that they were free, he answered saying: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin(4) is the servant of sin. ... Ye do the deeds of your father. ... Ye are of your father (proverb: A son's character or behavior can be expected to resemble that of his father.) the devil(5) and the lusts (impure desires) of your father ye will do. He(7) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: For he is a liar, and the father of it. ... And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. ... He that is of God heareth God’s words: Ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” – John 8:34,41,44,45,47.
“A longing for others to see and know us as we know ourselves — and, of course, regard us positively — is integral to being human. And yet, we can’t always change the way another person relates to us, or who they need us to be for them. Fortunately, we can always change the way we relate to ourselves. No matter the narrative tsunami we face, we can always be that kind and curious presence — for ourselves — which wants to know what is actually true inside our heart, and thus to know us as we really are.
“Even when our behavior demonstrates a different reality than what the blamer claims, the blamer is likely to remain more committed to keeping his or her narrative intact than to seeing the truth.” — Nancy Colier, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
“Therefore, it is unnecessary for a prince to have all the good qualities I have enumerated, but it is very necessary to appear to have them. And I shall dare to say this also, that to have them and always to observe them is injurious, and that to appear to have them is useful; to appear merciful, faithful, humane, religious, upright, and to be so, but with a mind so framed that should you require not to be so, you may be able and know how to change to the opposite. There is nothing more important than appearing to be religious.”
“A prince should therefore have no other aim or thought, nor take up any other thing for his study but war (political, kinetic, and spiritual) and its organization and discipline, for that is the only art that is necessary to one who commands.”
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: … Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto [eternal] life, and few there be that find it.” – Matthew 7:13,14.
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: … Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever [eternally] be with the Lord.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
“If ye continue in my word [work], then are ye my disciples indeed; ... And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”(8) – John 8:31,32.
